Each 4.5 oz bar is hand-blended, individually cut, placed in a cloth bag and sealed with the monastery's wax logo. The Benedictine Sisters make these soaps with the same careful attention they bring to all their crafts — natural shea and cocoa butters with olive, coconut, palm, almond and castor oils, gentle on skin and kind to the environment. Each batch even holds a few drops of holy water and a prayer for those who will use it: 'the work of our hands, made for your hands and body.'
